●Fluorocarbon Chemical R&D and Technology Center(Taicang)

The R&D and Technology Center of Fluorocarbon Chemicals, relying on ODS Substitutes National Engineering Research Center and Zhejiang Fluorine Chemical Engineering Center, is the earliest scientific research center in China that is engaged in the development of ODS substitutes and the first to complete the industrialization of HFC-134a.

The Center is mainly engaged in the research and development of gas phase catalysis fluoridation, catalytic hydrogenation, new substitutes, fluorine-containing textile finishing agents, industry upgrading, byproduct utilization and treatment of the three wastes. It is equipped with Fluoridation Catalyst Laboratory, New Substitute Laboratory, Gas Phase Fluoridation Process Laboratory, Industry Technology Upgrading Laboratory, Applied Catalysis Laboratory, Special Gas Laboratory, New Refrigerant Application Laboratory, Environmental Engineering Laboratory and Surfactant Laboratory. It has completed the technology updating of the fourth-generation fluoridation catalysts. It has received over ten awards including First Prize in Science and Technology Progress of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and Excellence Award of the 11th Chinese Patent Award.
