The Engineering Technology Center is the supporting department of Sinochem Lantian Fluorine Chemical Engineering Amplification and Research Platform. The Center aims to develop and research first-rate engineering results, cultivate top engineering talents, create first-rate engineering conditions, achieve first-rate management and operation level and realize a virtuous circle of talents, technology and economic operation. The Center carries out pilot test amplification research and has three pilot test workshops, which are all equipped with modern remote-control DCS with complete functions. They can carry out engineering amplification research of various technologies and products such as substitutes, polymers and fine chemicals and provide design basis and technical support for the industrialization of research and development achievements.
The Fluorine Fine Chemical Workshop has completed a number of pilot test projects of fluorine-containing chemicals and developed mature pilot test units for reactions like halogenation, amination, esterification, oxidation and hydrogenation, possessing relatively comprehensive production capacity of fluorine-containing fine chemicals.
The Fluorine Polymerization Workshop is equipped with efficient polymerization reaction kettles of different specifications as well as a set of 100,000-grade clean zone. It also has a mixing laboratory for cold-flow model research and process simulation of polymerization experiments, which is capable of scale-up of polymer technology and improvement of post-processing technology of resin.
The Substitute Workshop has gradually transformed into a multi-functional customization workshop with the development of the company. It currently has a complete set of production units including high-temperature bromination, gas phase fluorination, multi-stage thermonatrite washing and tail gas treatment, as well as advanced integrated production equipment for high-pressure/normal-pressure, intermittent/continuous rectification.
