●Synthesis Technology Center

The Synthesis Technology Center is mainly engaged in pesticide development, technology improvement, formulation processing and research and development and production of fine chemicals. The Center has Fluorinated Polysiloxane Laboratory, Custom-made Chemicals Laboratory, Chiral Synthesis Laboratory, Molecular Design Laboratory and Simulation Laboratory, and has three research and development teams: new pesticide development team, custom-made chemicals development team and organic silicon product development and customization team.

The new pesticide development team, centering on new pesticides, transforms structures, mainly introduces fluorine-containing groups and develops new pesticides with intellectual property rights. In 2011, the team undertook five national science and technology support projects in the “Twelfth Five-year Plan” period. It mainly researches trifluoromethyl isoxazole, benzamides with high level of fluorine, fluorine-containing volution and pyrazole amides and so on. During the “Eleventh Five-year Plan” period, through the structure design, synthesis and screening, the team found high insecticidal activity compounds ZJ4042 and ZJ3757. Through novelty search, the two compounds both have the novelty and creativity specified by Chinese patent law.

The custom-made chemicals development team focuses on the development of products with high added value, large technology difficulty and comprehensive advantages. The team has successfully developed a series of new pesticides including chlorfenapyr, spiroxamine, azoxystrobin and glufosinate-ammonium. In the meantime, it has also developed new-type environment-friendly phosphorus series fire retardants DOPO, DDP, ODOPB and DMMP, cross-linking agent P1011 and other fine chemical products.

The organic silicon product development and customization team focuses on the development of high value-added, cutting-edge fluorine-containing organic silicone products. The team has successfully developed and manufactured organic silicone adjuvant FGN-683 and captured certain market share in the agricultural adjuvant market. It has become a domestic leader in the development and production of perfluor alkane and its other organic silicon coupling agents hold an influential position in the industry.
